Diablo Canyon Unit 1 nuclear reactor off-line
Unit 2 Operating at 100 Percent Power
AVILA BEACH—Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) on Dec. 31 announced that Unit 1 at Diablo Canyon Power Plant was safely taken offline as part of a planned outage to repair a feedwater heater on the non-nuclear side of the plant. Unit 1 will return to full power following completion of the work. Unit 2 continues to safely operate at 100 percent power.
