Morro Bay Art Association is proud to present “The Great Outdoors”. After months of sheltering in place and staying close to home, there may be no better cleanse for the human spirit than art!
Artists create en plein air or artworks inspired by the beautiful scenery and colorful wildlife found in San Luis Obispo County from their respective studios. Local backyards provide creative inspiration for many novices and seasoned artists alike! View nature inspired scenes imbued with romance, desire and dramatic light in all media.
In addition to this exhibit, Art Center Morro Bay will feature beautiful wood turned vessels, bowls and other three-dimensional artworks by special guest artist, Larry Truesdale!
With special social distancing measures in place, Art Center Morro Bay remains open to visitors seeking to leave behind the dust of everyday life, even if just for a few hours. Please join us for this very special exhibit.
The Great Outdoors will be on display from July 15, 2021 through September 6, 2021. This event is free and open to the public. Art Center Morro Bay is open from 12pm – 4pm daily.
