Donate scrap gold to benefit local students
The Paso Robles Education Alliance is holding a Gold Buying Event and Fundraiser Thursday, Jan. 9. If you have broken chains, an orphan earring, old silverware, coins or jewelry, they can be turned into donations for local schools.
Each piece donated helps the organization ensure that local children are given every opportunity to succeed by helping offset shrinking school funding and keep local schools technologically up to date.
TheGold Buying Event and Fundraiser is Jan. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. with refreshments served.
