Burbank Ranch joins downtown Paso Robles wine scene
A new tasting room opened last month in downtown Paso Robles on Park Street joining about a dozen others serving local visitors. The new Paso Robles Burbank Ranch Tasting Room is featured in a walk-through virtual tour hosted by Google and attached to Street View.
Local advertising and marketing company Access Publishing created the tour for the winery. Access is a Google Trusted Photographer and done over 30 online tours for places in San Luis Obispo County. Burbank Ranch opened its door across the street from the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce at 1240 Park Street, previously home to the Paso Wine Center. The location will be an outlet for wines produced by Fred and Melody Burbank of Tempelton.
Burbank Ranch is a family-owned and operated business with a vineyard located in the El Pomar area of Templeton, CA. The vineyard was planted in 2008 and grows varieties including the Bordeaux reds like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc, Rhone reds like Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mourvedre, Grenache Blanc, and the Burbank’s personal favorites, Sangiovese, Arneis, Tempranillo, and Zinfandel. Their very first vintage of 2010 the Burbank Ranch Cabernet Franc won “Best In Class” in the 2012 Central Coast Wine Competition.
Burbank Ranch joins other downtown Paso Robles wine tasting rooms such as Arroyo Robles Winery, Grizzly Republic Wines, Parrish Family, Pianetta Winery, Asuncion Ridge, D’Anbino, Anglim, the new Paso Underground and others.
