Father’s Day Concert: Martin Paris Trio
Celebrate Father’s Day with this free show
Castoro Cellars hosts The Martin Paris Trio from 1-4pm.
Drawing on inspiration from California’s pristine wine country, The Martin Paris Trio brings his versatile array of original material. With solo and trio arrangements he blends styles of pop, folk, blues, ballads and Celtic arrangements. “The acoustic guitar inspires me to create a musical journey. My experimentation with alternate tunings has led me to some of the great finger style players.”
The show is June 16 from 1-4 p.m.
Some of Martin’s musical influences include Acoustic Alchemy and Tommy Emmanuel. Current favorites include Peppino D’ Agostino, and Laurence Juber, who Martin opened up for at Castoro Cellars. He also shared the billing with Karla Bonoff in a benefit concert for Escuela Del Rio to a sold out show at Castoro in 2010.
Martins current CD’s “Guitarist Off The Vine”, “Turning Point : Deluxe Edition” and newest CD “Acoustically Speaking” are released on Solid Air Records, a Grammy award winning label that can be found at Acoustic Music Resource.
Accompanying him again this year will be Kirk MacLane on bass and Jesse Hesch on drums. “Bring a picnic and a blanket and let us supply you with some Dam Fine Wine,” Castoro says.
