On Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 10:38 PM, two companies of Paso Robles Firefighters and one Battalion Chief responded to a single family residential structure fire at 3243 Oak Street in Paso Robles.

Firefighters arriving at scene found a fire well established in the back corner of the residence. Firefighters quickly stretched hose lines into the residence to stop the forward progress of the fire. This aggressive interior fire attack stopped the fire in the rear of the residence.

Two occupants were home at the time of the fire; both safely exited the building prior to firefighters arriving at scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by Department of Emergency Services fire investigators.
A total of 15 firefighters from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services, CalFire/SLO County Fire and Atascadero Fire Department responded to the fire. Paso Robles Police Department assisted with traffic control.
