Firefighters respond to Adelaide Road fire

85-acre fire burns westside Paso Robles
Cal Fire air and ground firefighters battled a wildland fire on Adelaide Road near Vineyard Drive west of Paso Robles on Sunday afternoon.
The crews responded at about 1 p.m. and reported it at 4-acres and spreading at a slow to moderate rate of speed. By 2:17 p.m. additional resources were brought in and the fire had grown to 60 acres. By 9 p.m. Cal Fire reported the fire was contained at 85 acres. Firefighters continued to patrol and mop-up though the night.
There was no immediate threat to homes or structures, according to Cal Fire.
