Over 350 attend first Sip & Taste event at Allegretto Vineyard Resort

–The first-ever Sip & Taste Festival in Paso Robles had over 350 people in attendance with 60 vendors serving food and drink, said organizer Thomas Booth of Wine Boss. “We cannot wait to do this bigger and better next year,” he said.

The event was held at Allegretto Vineyard Resort on Buena Vista Drive in Paso Robles on Saturday, Sept. 7.

It was an 85-degree afternoon of sipping and sampling from some of the Central Coast’s favorite wineries, cideries, distilleries, breweries, and cuisine from local farmers, chefs, and restaurants.

Food Network celebrity Chef Eddie G and local mixologist Tony Bennett from Paso Robles’ speakeasy Eleven Twenty Two gave demonstrations throughout the afternoon. Kaleo from the band Pepper gave a performance.

“We raised over $3000 for the Griffin Gives Foundation spearheaded by organization president, Tracey Leinen,” Booth said.
