Kennedy Club Fitness celebrates Get Active America month
Kennedy Club Fitness offering complimentary ten-day membership
Because Kennedy Club Fitness is dedicated to helping its members and the local community achieve their fitness goals, the clubs will offer their 8th Annual “Get Active San Luis Obispo County” now through May 24th, benefitting the American Heart Association.
Health clubs around the nation are designating the Month of May as Get Active America, and Kennedy Club Fitness is celebrating that theme by offering local residents a complimentary ten-day membership pass to activate a fitness program that is specific to their health and fitness goals. Included will be a health and fitness assessment, supervised training and five hours of child care, plus access to all four club locations and all club amenities.
“Oprah has said that San Luis Obispo is the happiest city in the country”, says Kevin Kennedy, owner of Kennedy Club Fitness. “My goal is to make San Luis Obispo County the healthiest place in the country. This May, everyone is a member of Kennedy Club Fitness. It gives us the opportunity to expose inactive County residents to an ‘active’ lifestyle that is tailored to meet their fitness level, ability and goals. What they learn here can be used at home, outdoors, or in a health club setting.”
In addition to Get Active San Luis Obispo County, the clubs are showcasing their summer youth and adult programs during the ‘Splash into Summer’ Festival on Saturday, May 31st from 11am to 4pm. It’s a free ‘locals’ guest day, ‘family swim’ and BBQ that is open to the public
“In a few weeks school will be out and parents will be looking for healthy, productive ways to engage their children during their summer vacation. We invite SLO County families to check out the clubs and programs designed to meet those needs,” says Debra Leonard Albert, Manager of Marketing for Kennedy Club Fitness.
