Local DAR chapter to collect food for Loaves and Fishes 

–To honor the anniversary of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s founding on Oct. 11, 1890, El Paso de Robles chapter members will participate in the “DAR Day of Service” by donating a bag of groceries at their October meeting to support Loaves and Fishes in Atascadero and Paso Robles.

“We’re excited to demonstrate the spirit and contributions of today’s DAR by joining Daughters from across the country in serving our local communities as part of this national day of service,” said Chapter Regent Anne Edgecombe.

El Paso de Robles Chapter NSDAR will Celebrate 70 years of service to the community February 25, 2020 and continues to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a nonprofit, nonpolitical women’s service organization with more than one million members who have joined the organization since its founding in 1890. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership.
