Man arrested during narcotics search warrant service

On Friday, Feb. 21, at about 4:30 p.m., the Paso Robles Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the Atascadero police, served a narcotics-related search warrant in the 2000 block of Riverside Avenue in the city of Paso Robles.
During the search of the suspect’s residence and vehicles a quarter pound of methamphetamine, scales, evidence of narcotic sales, and cash were seized. The street value of the seized methamphetamine was approximately $6,700.
During the execution of the search warrant Leonel Zavala Sanchez, DOB 01-17-1964, of Paso Robles was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine for sales, felony transportation of a controlled substance and commission of a felony while out on bail.
