Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebrated in Paso Robles 

The City of Paso Robles is hosting a “United We Keep the Dream Alive” Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, 1 p.m. at Centennial Park, 600 Nickerson Drive, Paso Robles.

The City of Paso Robles, Library and Recreation Services, is leading the celebrating of the powerful vision and message of Martin Luther King, Jr. The community is invited to gather at Centennial Park to honor the message and work of Dr. King through this brief but meaningful event.

The keynote speaker will provide a motivating message on keeping the dream alive. A community group will dramatize the history of Martin Luther King Jr. through his powerful speeches and the eventful Montgomery Bus ride. An award winning choir will sing, a local dance group will perform and many talented community members will be part of the celebration. All are welcome to attend. Monetary donations will be accepted for Loaves and Fishes.
