How many years have you been with Hayashi Wayland?
I joined Hayashi Wayland in 2016.
What are you passionate about in your role?
I have a passion for helping people. Some days that means tax planning to keep as much cash in a business as possible to support growth, other days that means training a client on QuickBooks Online so that they have current financial information. Gone are the days of cookie-cutter solutions. I, like my clients, stay adaptable and am constantly evolving. As a client once described it “You’re a vitamin, not an aspirin.”

What do you enjoy most about working at Hayashi Wayland?
The people. Every day I have the opportunity to work closely with my clients and the staff at our firm. We are a diverse firm with many different backgrounds and experiences which is immensely valuable when trying to work through complex issues.
How do you enjoy spending your time when not at work?
I spend most of my free time enjoying a combination of the following: playing with my newborn son, enjoying the outdoors, or doing projects around the house. My wife and I moved to the Central Coast because we love the outdoor activities available to us here. We might start the day with a hike or a trip to the beach and spend the afternoon at a local restaurant, winery, or brewery.
