Mid-State Baptist Church finds a new home

Life Community Church 1

LIfe Community Church in Templeton to host Mid-State Baptist church services beginning March 1

Old location purchased by Firestone Walker as part of their expansion

–Following last week’s announcement that Mid State Baptist Church was being displaced from the Ramada Drive location, Pastor Bruce Fore shared the good news that a temporary home has been located. “Life Community Church, just down the road opened their doors for us,’ said Fore. Fore said it is a temporary agreement for up to a year, but “they are flexible and very understanding and helpful.”

Fore said that MId State Baptist Church is still looking for a permanent location to either purchase or rent. “We would like to stay in this same general location,” said Fore. “People in our congregation live in San Miguel, Paso Robles, Creston, Atascadero and Templeton so this area is a good location for us.” Fore said the church is looking for 10,000 square foot building or for property to build a church. Fore said he has not yet been in touch with any real estate agents about searching for property.

Life Community Church is located at 3770 Ruth Way, Templeton, less than two miles from the current location at 1749 Ramada Drive. The Ramada Dr location was purchased by Firestone Walker Brewing Company to expand its existing operations located at 1400 Ramada Dr.

Mid State Baptist Church will be holding services at the new location on Sundays from 1:30 – 4:30 pm and Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:30 pm at the new location. The first Wednesday service is March 1 and the first Sunday service is March 5. Pastor Fore can be reached at (805) 400-0043.

Life Community Church Pastor Keith Newsome said his congregation is happy to be able to help. “We see fellow Christians who need a place to worship. We offered them room until the can find their own place. It is the right thing to do.”
