Model A Ford Club convenes national tour at the Warbird Museum
–The Bakersfield Chapter of the Model A Ford Club of America (MAFCA) is hosting the 2017 National Tour in Paso Robles, beginning with dinner at the Estrella Warbirds Museum on Sun, Sept 24.
The dinner is closed to the public but the visiting Model As will be lined up on the taxiway next to the aircraft display. Ren Stelloh, President of the Board of Directors for the museum said, “All museum visitors will have access to the display area.”
Between 55 and 60 restored Model As are expected to be on display starting at noon on Sunday. There will be local touring on Monday then the club begins the tour to Monterey on Tuesday. The National Tour concludes Friday afternoon in San Francisco, after which the owners will drive back to Paso to retrieve their trailers and tow vehicles.
