New Farm to Fork Progressive Food & Wine Tour 

Paso Robles Women in Business hosting new food and wine event Sept. 20

Farm to Fork Progressive Food & Wine TourThe Paso Robles Women in Business Committee is hosting the inaugural “Farm to Fork Progressive Food and Wine Tour.” It’s scheduled for September 20th from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This culinary adventure tour will dish up plenty of delicious delights and surprises including national cookbook author cooking demonstrations, wine tasting, biodynamic farm tours and food artisans. This tour is designed to reconnect guests to the source of their culinary palate and celebrate the talented women in our local food and wine industry.

National Cookbook author, Chef Brigit Binns, author of over twenty-five cook books, including a series for Williams Sonoma, has been lucky enough to help some of this country’s most respected chefs, like New York’s Michael Psilakis and Los Angeles’ Joachim Splichal, turn their cookbook dreams into reality.

She translates countless complex restaurant recipes into home cook-friendly food. Her new book, the “New Wine Country Cookbook: Recipes from California’s Central Coast Wine Country” will celebrate the food and winemakers of California’s fastest-growing wine region: “Paso Robles is a region full of mavericks and innovators. “

This Farm-to-Fork Progressive Food & Wine Tour includes an open air breakfast featuring Fig Good Food at the Pioneer Museum, private coach will shuttle everyone to Windrose Farm for a tour and heirloom tomato tasting, Farm to Table lunch at Windfall Farms with cooking demonstration from Brigit Binns and on-site cook book signing, Pasolivo Olive Oil Tasting and dessert from La Guardia Deli and Doughkies, produce and local product filled market bag, a signed “New Wine Country Cookbook” by Brigit Binns, farm tours, wine tasting, networking, and so much more.

The new event is presented by thw Women in Business Committee of the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce. Women in Business Program is a growing women’s business referral network under the umbrella of the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce. The Women in Business Program promotes networking, knowledge and community involvement through monthly events that discuss relevant business topics.
