North County Memorial Day services 

Memorial Day 2017 is Monday, May 29.  A number of Memorial Day ceremonies are being held in North County in memory those who have died in service to the United States of America.

    • Paso Robles District Cemetery, Monday, May 29. Ceremony starts at 11 a.m. and includes a fly-over by Estrella War Birds and participation from local American Legions, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Coffee, Lemonade and Cookies provided by the cemetery and hot dog lunch provided by Kuehl-Nicolay Funeral Home. Paso Robles District Cemetery is located at 45 Nacimiento Lake Drive Paso Robles, CA .     • Memorial Day Ceremony and BBQ at Faces of Freedom Veterans Memorial on Monday, May 29th at 12 noon at Atascadero Lake Park. Following the Ceremony will be Music and a Community BBQ. Tri-tip sandwich with salad, chips and a drink $8; half a sandwich or hot dog with salad, chips and a drink $5. For more information visit the Faces of Freedom Veterans Memorial website.
    • Atascadero Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2814, is holding an 11 a.m. Memorial Day service at the Atascadero Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd, Atascadero.  For more information: (805) 466-3305.
    • Annual Friends of the Adobes Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Estrella Adobe Church on Airport Road, northeast of Paso Robles. For more information visit Friends of the Adobes on Facebook or call (805) 467-3357.
    • Cambria Memorial Day Ceremony at the Vets Hall, 1000 Main St. May 29, starting at 11 a.m. For more information email the American Legion Post 432: legionpost432@charter.net.
    • Cayucos annual Lost at Sea Memorial Day Service, May 29 3-4 p.m. on Cayucos Pier. In memory of our US Veterans and those Lost at Sea. Officiated by the Cayucos-Seaside Rotary Club and Cayucos Lions Club.
    • Los Osos Valley Memorial Park, May 29 starting at 10:15 a.m. followed by a donation-based BBQ. 2260 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos, CA. For more information call (805) 528-1500.
