Paso grape growers host holiday social

The public is invited to a wine and viticulture holiday social, hosted by The Independent Grape Growers of the Paso Robles Area (IGGPRA).  IGGPRA will be hosting its annual holiday social on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the San Miguel Parish Center in San Miguel, CA.  A four-course dinner will be serviced by Cahoots Catering along with dancing with DJ Jerry Craig.

Guests and growers are encouraged to bring wine to share and offer the opportunity to sample local wines that may not be commercially available. Tickets are $50 per person in advance, seating is limited and reservations required.
Reservations can be made by contacting Elizabeth Torp at (805) 226-8293, or online using the RSVP link at www.pasorobleswinegrapes.com. The San Miguel Parish Center is located at 775 Mission St. San Miguel, CA 93451.

The Independent Grape Growers of the Paso Robles Area (IGGPRA) is dedicated to the advancement of superior wine grape growing in the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area, the largest and fastest-growing wine appellation in California and the home to a distinct variety of soils, micro-climates, and grape varietals.
Through our online marketplace listing service, ongoing seminars, and other critical services, IGGPRA provides a networking forum to promote cooperation and collaboration between the over 300 IGGPRA Member Grape Growers in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County (representing 27,000 fruit-producing acres and 40 grape varietals), and interested international grape growers, grape buyers, vintners, and vineyard suppliers.
