Paso Robles paramedics hold free CPR training
Free “Hands Only” CPR training in Paso Robles
“Hands Only” CPR, chest compressions without mouth‐to‐mouth breathing, has been proven to be as effective as standard Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The earlier CPR is started, the better the outcome for the victim. Effective bystander CPR provided immediately after sudden cardiac arrest can nearly triple a victim’s chance of survival but an average of only 32% of cardiac arrest victims get CPR from a bystander.
On June 4th from 11 am to 1 pm Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services Paramedics will be providing free “hands only” CPR training to any interested community member at several convenient locations throughout the city. Come out and receive training in “Hands Only” CPR, an easy, yet important life‐ saving technique. Those trained will not receive official CPR certification, however they will be prepared to administer “Hands Only” CPR after the brief training session.
Courses will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 11am – 1p at the following locations:
- Albertson’s Shopping Center – 189 Niblick Road
- Von’s Shopping Center – 1191 Creston Road
