Paso Robles roper earns 2nd place at NFR
Paso Robles rodeo veteran Dugan Kelly won second place in the Team Roping event at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas Saturday.
Kelly and his partner Turtle Powell of Stephenville, Tex. tied for second place with 4.1 seconds. They each one $12,662.
Last week Kelly finished ninth in the team roping competition on Tuesday with a time of 9.6 seconds. Kelly is 15th in the world standings with more than $70,000 in prize money this season.
