Paso Robles Rotary Club donates $2,500 to SkillsUSA
The Paso Robles Rotary Club recently cut a check for $2,500 to help the Paso Robles High School’s SkillsUSA program. Randy Canaday, SkillsUSA Program Director at the high school, received the check for the program from Past Rotary President Dennis Cassidy and current President Tom Apkarian. The funds will be used for SkillsUSA student travel expenses.
Randy Canaday not only advises the Paso Robles High School chapte of SkillsUSA but also has several students from his classes compete every year in skills like plumbing, residential wiring and sheet metal. He has led the SkillsUSA program for several years.
SkillsUSA is a career and technical student organization serving more than 320,000 high school and college students and professional members around the country who are enrolled in training programs in technical, skilled, and service occupations, including health occupations.
