Police warn of increase in residential burglaries

The Paso Robles Police Department today reported a noticeable increase in residential burglaries over the last two weeks. These burglaries are occurring on the eastside of the city during the daytime hours.

The unknown suspect or suspects are gaining entry into residences through unlocked rear windows or sliding glass doors. The Paso Robles Police Department’s Detective Bureau and Special Enforcement Team are actively investigating these incidents and are requesting anyone with information to contact the police department.

The police department would like to remind to residents to make sure that they lock and secure all doors and windows when leaving a residence for any period of time.

If anyone notices a suspicious person or vehicle at any time please call the police department at (805) 237-6464 and report it.
