Roadwork continues at south end of Downtown Paso Robles
Road repair work has 5th Street closed at Spring Street and in front of the US Post Office on Tuesday.
–Roadwork continues this week in Paso Robles. The City of Paso Robles Public Works Department is finishing the first course of the road resurfacing and repaving. This week, the final surface level is being applied on the roads, then public works will just need to raise utilities.
The streets impacted include 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th streets from Pine to Spring streets.
Crews are also working on 10th Street from Vine to Spring streets. Park Street from 6th to 9th streets is also being finished.
On Tuesday, the paving closed the stretch of 6th Street by Wells Fargo to the US Post Office.
“After the resurfacing is completed and the utilities are raised, the streets will be restriped,” said Paso Robles Capital Projects Engineer Ditas Esperanza.
A specialized piece of equipment strips out old pavement, crushes it, and loads it into a truck at Park and 9th streets earlier this month.
