School district hosting volunteer driver class

The Paso Robles School District is hosting District Driver Safety classes for volunteers and parents who may want to help shuttle students for winter sports or have the course renewed if they have not attended one since 2011.

The next classes are Thursday, Dec. 4, and Monday, Dec. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at 2910 Union Road, Paso Robles.

Organizer Tom Harrington asks attendees to please arrive five minutes early. Class will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. and doors will be locked for safety reasons, he says.

After these two classes, the next scheduled date is February 19, 2015.
