School invites veterans to Veterans Day assembly

veterans-dayEach year the students at Winifred Pifer Elementary School honor the veterans in our community with a special Veterans Day Assembly. The assembly is an opportunity for our students to learn about the importance of this day and recognize the men and women in the military who have served, or are currently serving our country.

Students will be singing patriotic songs, reciting poems, and sharing important facts about the history of Veterans Day. The school invite all veterans to attend this special assembly on Monday, Nov. 10, at 1:30 PM at the Winifred Pifer School on 1350 Creston Rd.
