Sherwood Dog Park celebration April 26
Sherwood Dog Park organizers are celebrating the park’s 2nd anniversary on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to noon with a chili cook-off, hot dog barbecue, and hot dog toss contest for dog owners and their dogs. All events are free. To enter your favorite chili recipe in the chili cook-off, contact Bud Bailey at budandjanis@sbcglobal.net. Prizes will be awarded to chefs for best in show, people’s choice, and best mixed breed (most unique).
Sherwood Dog Park opened in April 2012 and is maintained entirely by volunteers. Park operations are funded from donations and various fund raising events. Sherwood Dog Park is located at 290 Scott Street in Paso Robles.
