Firefighters responded Saturday afternoon to small fire at the Sea Shanty, a popular Cayucos restaurant in the 200 block of South Ocean Avenue.

The call came in shortly after 1:30 p.m. A small fire torched the inside front wall of the restaurant, according to a report. The Cayucos Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Cal Fire and the Morro Bay Fire Department.

The restaurant is probably going to be closed for two or three days, Cayucos Fire Chief Mike Minetti told the San Luis Obispo Tribune. Cal Fire is investigating the cause of the fire. No injuries were reported.
