‘Teen Snack & Craft’ happening June 21 at the library

library paso robles–Teens, ages 13-17, are invited to learn a new craft, try a new snack and hang out with friends on Friday, June 21, from 3-5 p.m. In keeping with the Summer Reading Program theme, A Universe of Stories, paint unique, festival- worthy tees with a cool swirly galaxy print. It will be messy and fun, and participants will leave with an awesome shirt they made themselves.

“We want to give teens in our community plenty of opportunities to try new things and find a creative outlet they love,” said Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey, “To that end, we are starting up a summer series of classes dedicated to introducing teens to a new craft each month. These classes will focus on testing out one new skill and will involve a lot of snacks and music, staples for any crafty teen.”

Space is limited. Registration is required. Visit www.prcity.com/246/Classes-Events. For more information, contact Melissa Bailey, (805) 237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
