Templeton Chamber hires executive director

The Templeton Chamber of Commerce hired Berdette Robison in October to be the first chamber’s first executive director. Templeton Chamber of Commerce Board President Robert Rosales and the entire board of directors are excited to have their first full-time executive director to help grow the chamber and be a leader for the town’s economic future.
Robison brings to the chamber an extensive career in sales and marketing. After graduating from UCLA, she spent many years in print advertising on the local, regional and national levels.
Her last position was marketing director at the Community Performance and Arts Center in Green Valley, Arizona. She was responsible for hiring performers, implementing membership, creating fundraising campaigns, acting as a liaison with government agencies, placing media buys, organizing special events and designing collateral materials.
Robison first moved to the central coast in 1992. After seven years in Arizona, she returned this summer and bought a home in Templeton.
“I’m thrilled to embark on this exciting new career path,” Robison says. “My goal is to create a dynamic and vibrant business community and promote economic vitality while maintaining the quality of life Templeton enjoys.”
She also looks forward to becoming active with many local organizations and promoting the community throughout the county and beyond. Robison enjoys gardening, decorating, live theater and spending time with her grandchildren, Justin and Breonna who live in Boise, ID, and Taylor, Brennan and Emily who reside in Templeton.
The board of directors of the Templeton Chamber of Commerce includes president Robert Rosales of Ormonde and Associates, vice-president Jennifer Langstaff of Legacy Retirement Advisors, treasurer Larry Jordan, CPA, secretary Patricia Scoles, attorney at law, Scott Maggelet of Applynx, Scott Brennan of Access Publishing and Katty Coffron, MA, LMFT.
