Templeton raising funds for new American flags

Templeton flagsTempleton Community Services District is raising money to replace the American flags that decorate Main Street during the patriotic holidays. Thirty flags need to be replaced at a cost of $30 each.

The flags were originally donated to the District through the efforts of Girls Scout Jessica Gibson, as part of her Gold Award Project in 1998. After 16 years of service, it is now time to replace the flags.

Individuals, businesses and services clubs are invited to donate towards the campaign. Checks may be made payable to Templeton CSD, P.O. Box 780, Templeton, CA 93465. Donors will be recognized in the Templeton Matters Fall Activity Guide. Please call the Templeton CSD Office at (805) 434-4900 for more information or contact:
