Thousands fill downtown for Christmas parade 

The Paso Robles Main Street Association hosted the 53rd annual Holiday Light Parade Saturday night to a crowd of thousands who lined the downtown streets of the parade route. The parade started at 7 p.m. and lasted for more than an hour. This year’s theme was “Celebrating 125 Years Downtown.” There were a total of 65 entries.

Winners of the parade awards include the following:

  • Sweepstakes: NCI Affiliates, Inc.
  • Judges’ Award: Pioneer Day Committee
  • Special Award: Bearcat Football Team
  • Santa’s Award: Artistry in Motion
  • Business/Commercial: North County Septic
  • Band: PRHS Bearcat Marching Band

 

The following entries won first place ribbons for specific categories:
