USDA sanctions Paso Robles produce company

Dec. 20, 2012 – The USDA sanctioned four companies for failing to pay reparation awards including a Paso Robles company, according to The Packer, an ag industry publication.

The report says Wild West Produce LLC, Paso Robles, Calif., was sanctioned for failing to pay $1,634 to a California seller. The responsibly connected individual is Amy Luera.

The USDA also sanctioned three other companies for failing to pay reparation awards:

  • Del Monte Farms LLC, (no affiliation with Del Monte Corp. or Del Monte Foods), Vineland, N.J., for failing to pay $4,760 to a Pennsylvania seller. The responsibly connected individual is Daniel Del Monte.
  • Produce Express of AZ LLC, Yuma, Ariz., for failing to pay $22,199 to an Arizona seller. The responsibly connected individual is Nava Pablo.
  • Raul Moreno Flores, doing business as Fresh 2U, Los Angeles, for failing to pay $2,000 to a California seller. The sole responsibly connected proprietor is Raul Moreno Flores.
