The wine country experience just got a whole lot more flavorful at Villa San-Juliette Vineyard & Winery. Chef Charlie Paladin Wayne, a frequent caterer for winery events, has designed a new seasonal menu to complement the award-winning wines and enhance the tasting room experience.

For nearly a decade, Chef Charlie has been one of the wine country’s in-demand caterer, coordinating hundreds of winemaker dinners and weddings across the Central Coast. With over 35 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry, he has worked in kitchens across the globe and brings his mastery of ethnic cuisines – including classic American fare – to every meal. With a dedicated staff at VSJ, including right-hand man, Stephen Plale, Chef Charlie’s contribution to the wine tasting experience has already been received with overwhelming enthusiasm.

With its emphasis on fresh, local ingredients like Morro Bay rock cod and Oak Creek Ranch lamb, the new menu includes:

Warmed goat cheese encrusted in crushed almonds and rosemary
