Vina Robles hosts third annual Chocolate Festival
This Saturday, Nov. 8 from 5-8 p.m. Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery will hold its third annual Chocolate Festival to support San Luis Obispo based Woods Humane Society, a privately funded organization dedicated to the humane care of animals who are waiting for their forever homes.
Vina Robles invites guests to come melt into a decadent evening during the annual Chocolate Festival on Nov. 8 at their Hospitality Center at 3700 Mill Road off Highway 46 East in Paso Robles. The idea to dedicate an entire event to all things chocolate arose three years ago from the popularity of their Wine and Chocolate Experiences. These unique tastings showcase a flight of either limited-production red or white wines paired with handmade chocolate truffles by Mama Ganache Artisan Chocolates in San Luis Obispo.
The event is the ultimate in confectionary comfort and will encompass anything made of chocolate or that complements chocolate. An array of local wineries – including Cass Winery, EOS Estate Winery, Hope Family Wines, Le Vigne Winery, Mitchella Vineyard & Winery, Opolo Vineyards, Robert Hall Winery, Roxo Port Cellars, as well as Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery – will offer their chocolate friendly wines. Meanwhile, chocolatiers, restaurants and food purveyors from all over the Central Coast and across California will share their chocolate inspired goods, ranging from baked goods to toffee, olive oil, soothing chocolate soaps and cigars.
Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to bid on high-end wines, gift certificates as well as chocolate themed gift baskets in a silent auction. The evening will be complemented with live music by Melody Klemin.
