Volunteers needed for Pioneer Day

Pioneer-Day-cowboys-&-girls-052Volunteers are being sought for the Paso Robles Pioneer Day annual festivities. In celebration of the City of Paso Robles’ 125th anniversary, additional family‐fun activities will be added to this year’s annual downtown city park Pioneer Day event. Old‐fashioned games like sack races, musical chairs, tug‐of‐war, and egg and spoon races, and a bake off are planned, along with a beer garden and street dance.

Volunteers are needed to help with the games, bake‐off, and beverage booth. Shifts will be 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1‐4:30 p.m.

Registration forms are available in the Paso Robles City Library and at www.prcity.com/125 and can be delivered to the City Library, 1000 Spring St.; faxed to the library, (805) 238-3665; or scanned and emailed to srobitaille@prcity.com. Parents must sign for teen volunteers under 18.

For more information on anniversary celebration volunteer needs, contact Suzanne Robitaille, (805) 237‐3870.
