Wine Festival weekend is here

Paso Robles Wine Festival

Paso Robles Wine Festival event staff get ready early Saturday morning, last year, for the main event.

The 33rd Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival kicked off Thursday and runs through Sunday. The Paso Robles Police Department issued an alert Thursday warning drivers that streets around the downtown park are being closed Saturday morning starting at 5 a.m. Expect traffic details in the downtown.

Temperatures for the festival are expected be in the upper 60’s and lower 70’s, with scattered showers expected Friday and possibly Saturday morning.

If you want to join in the fun, there are still some tickets available for the festival, from 1 – 4 p.m. and designated driver tickets, but quantities are limited. For a complete list of the weekend’s events and to purchase tickets, click here.

The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance asks attendees to drink responsibly, and to use the “Four S’s” of wine tasting: Swirl, Smell, Sip and Spit.

Visitors can avoid the hassle of finding a parking spot by using a complimentary park and ride Shuttle service for Saturday’s Grand Tasting. This service will be available from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
