Bearcats open PAC 8 League play in basketball 

The Paso Robles High School Bearcats will open PAC 8 League play in basketball at home this week. On Monday, both boys and girls basketball teams will resume their long standing rivalry with the Atascadero Greyhounds at Gil Asa Gym. The girls varsity will tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the boys varsity following at 7 p.m.

The Lady Bearcats are 1-6 on the season and will face the 6-3 Lady Greyhounds. The Bearcat Boys are currently 4-5 on the season and are coming off a third place finish in the Atascadero Holiday Tournament that included victories over Orcutt Academy and Christopher High School of Gilroy. The Greyhounds are 6-5 on the season and finished second in the same holiday tournament.
