Bianchi Winery receives five medals at ‘Best in Glass’ challenge in Miami

Bianchi Winery of Paso Robles announced this week that all five wines entered in VeritageMiami’s Fifth Annual “Best in Glass” challenge were awarded medals. South Florida’s top sommeliers judged more than 325 wines entered, fewer than half won a medal and only twelve percent took gold. Bianchi’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon captured a gold medal and the 2010 Petite Sirah, 2011 Merlot, 2012 Chardonnay, and the 2012 Zinfandel all received silver medals.bianci

“The sommeliers were looking for wines that represented exceptional quality and value – both are hallmarks of Bianchi wines,” says Beau Bianchi of Bianchi Wines, “We are thrilled to be included in this elite group of award-winning wines.”

The annual VeritageMiami brings together wine, spirits, beer and food lovers for a four-day festival featuring top sommeliers, notable chefs, prestigious wineries and winemakers, breweries and impressive auction lots, all to benefit the South Florida community. Celebrating its 20th year, VeritageMiami benefits United Way of Miami-Dade, supporting programs in the community that are focused on improving education, financial stability and health.
