Cuesta College giving tree collecting socks and blankets for elderly

EOPS-Giving-TreeCuesta College’s Extended Opportunities Programs & Services and Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education programs are hosting a Holiday Giving Tree at Cuesta College. The holiday donation drive is collecting new lap blankets and socks for the elderly from college students, faculty and staff.

Below are the dates and locations for two drop-offs occurring this weekend at local convalescent homes. So far 60 pairs of socks and 8 blankets have been donated.

The public is invited to join college staff members this Saturday as they bring warmth and holiday cheer to the elderly in our community. Some of them will be dressed as elves and there will be some holiday singing, as well.
