Dense fog advisory in effect today
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo valleys. This advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. this morning. The fog will make travel hazardous on roadways including Highway 101 and State Route 46. Expect visibility of less than a quarter-mile.

When driving, reduce speeds and increase following distance, use low beam headlights, and allow extra time to reach your destination, the advisory says.
