Firefighters extinguish burning garage on Geneseo Road

– Cal Fire responded Monday night to a burning garage in the 1700 block of Geneseo Road in rural east Paso Robles. The call came in at about 8 p.m. Firefighters described the fire at the 1,500-square-foot structure as “fully-involved.” Crews were faced with exploding propane tanks upon arrival at the scene.

Firefighters with three fire engines and a water tender extinguished the blaze. Cal Fire reports that power line were down. No injuries were reported.
Fire investigators are working to identify the cause of the fire.
