Free business consulting services offered at chamber
The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce this month announced a partnership with Mission Community Services Corporation (MCSC) to offer business consulting services in our Chamber offices on a regular basis. MCSC will consult with chamber members as well as other businesses in the community that are in need of assistance in starting, managing, or growing their small businesses. Consulting is being provided free of charge.
Consulting hours are the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 1-4 p.m. Call MCSC at (805) 595-1357 to make an appointment, or to see if a walk-in time is available. The Paso Robles Chamber offices are located at 1225 Park Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446.
Consultants will be provided by the MCSC consultant pool and will initially be staffed by Becki Walker, an MCSC Senior Advisor, who has a background in business start-up and growth. Additional experts will be brought in as needed. Topics include advising new business startups; business licensing; business plan creation; legal entity formation, sales coaching; market research; social media and websites; marketing and advertising; government contracting; SBA and bank loans; human resources; operations and buy/sell business agreements. Additionally, bank loan officers can be invited to sit in on meetings with clients considering loans.
MCSC’s Women’s Business Center is a 501(c) 3 non-profit, full-service, consulting and training resource for individual start up entrepreneurs, and existing small businesses. Special focus is directed to underserved low and moderate-income markets including minorities, disabled persons, veterans and women.
