Pioneer Museum holds book signing for ‘Working Cowboy’

Gary Williams book signingGary Williams, author of “Lessons from the Range; Adventures of a Working Cowboy”, will be at the Paso Robles Pioneer Museum on Saturday, March 15 to sign his new book and talk about his fascinating life in the saddle.

As a kid Gary got to know famous movie cowboy Roy Rogers and his wife Dale Evans, who were friends of the family. Since then he’s done just about every type of ranch work possible. His story is not only unique, it’s one that’s getting rarer as technology moves more people off the land and into cities.

The book signing will be from 2 – 4 p.m. The Paso Robles Pioneer Museum is located at 2010 Riverside Avenue; next to the Paso Robles Event Center. Admission is free. The Pioneer Museum Store offers several books on the history of Paso Robles and the surrounding area. Docent-led tours of the Museum are available.
