Update: Photo released of San Miguel robbery suspect

–The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department has released a photo of the suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred Sunday.

Sheriff’s detectives are searching for two witnesses, a male and female, who were inside the station when the incident occurred. Detectives are asking those individuals to contact the sheriff’s office at (805) 781-4550.

This investigation is continuing. No further details are available at this time.

–On Sunday, deputies from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of an armed robbery which had just occurred at the Chevron station in San Miguel. Witnesses say a man entered the station, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The man made off with an undisclosed amount of money and ran out of the store. No one was hurt in the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 25-30 years old, 6′ 0″ tall, approximately 180-200 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black ball cap, and a black bandana with either white stars or white X’s on it which was covering his face.

Sheriff’s detectives are searching for two witnesses, a male and female, who were inside the station when the incident occurred. Detectives are asking those individuals to contact the sheriff’s office at (805) 781-4550.
