School district honors employees of the year 

Paso Robles Public Schools announced the district’s “Employees of the Year” Wednesday night at a special meeting of the Board of Trustees. The overall honorees were:

• Certificated Employee (Teacher) of the Year – Charlie Berry – Teacher, Kermit King Elementary.
• Classified Employee of the Year – Jerome Jackson – Head Custodian, Bauer-Speck Elementary.
• Manager of the Year – Dorothy Halic – Principal, Butler Elementary.

“Congratulations to this year’s honorees!” the district wrote in a press release. “Paso Robles Public Schools is fortunate to have such high quality individuals serving the needs of the students in our community.”

The Paso Robles School District Board of Trustees are Katy Griffin, Chris Bausch, Field Gibson, Dave Lambert, W. Jay Packer, Joel Peterson, and Joan Summers.
