Small earthquake rattles north county
A small earthquake shook north San Luis Obispo County Thursday evening. A 3.4 magnitude temblor was reported near Templeton at 8:12 p.m., according the US Geological Survey.
The location of the quake was 4.3 miles west of Templeton, 7 miles west northwest of Atascadero and 7 miles southwest of Paso Robles. It struck at a depth of 2.3 miles under the surface of the earth.
No injuries or damage has been reported, though several locals took to social media to report feeling the earthquake. If you felt the quake, please add your comments below.
