Templeton basketball beats Santa Maria

Monday: Templeton 52, Santa Maria 47

The Templeton Eagles boys basketball team bested the Santa Maria High School team Monday. Templeton’s Matthew Jardini scored 15 of his game-high 23 points in the second half, including his team’s final seven points, as the Eagles got past the Saints. Will Mehring powered his way to 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Friday: Lompoc 60, Templeton 57 in OT

Friday was a tough loss for the Templeton Eagles boys basketball team. They got 26 points and 19 rebounds from Will Mehring and 20 points from Matt Jardini, but lost in overtime.
