Vehicle fire on Highway 46 near Shandon contained 

– Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 46 East near Lucy Brown Road in Shandon on Sunday. The fire posed no threat to vegetation or nearby structures, according to social media posts by Cal Fire SLO.

Firefighters successfully knocked down the fire shortly after arriving on the scene.
