    Paso Robles School district will not be providing meals to students over winter break 

    –The Paso Robles Joint Union School District announced yesterday that it will not be providing meals to students during the three-week winter break.

    The City of Paso Robles has compiled a list of food resource information for those in need of food during the closure and beyond.

    Here is the list of SLO Food Bank distribution sites that would be most convenient to Paso Robles residents in the coming days and on an ongoing basis:

    Wednesday, Dec. 16

    Atascadero:

    Casa Grande Apartments
    9300 El Bordo Avenue
    4:30-6 p.m.

    Thursday, Dec. 17

    Paso Robles:

    Grace Baptist Church
    535 Creston Road
    9-10 a.m.

    Virginia Peterson Elementary
    2501 Beechwood Drive
    3-4 p.m.

    Paso Loaves & Fishes
    2650 Spring Street
    5:30-7:00pm

    Friday, December 18

    Paso Robles:

    Oak Park Housing Authority
    30th & Pine
    1:30-3 p.m.

    These neighborhood food distribution sites are open to anyone in need of food. Participants will need to provide their name, but no ID or proof of income is required. Participants will receive a box of shelf-stable pantry items as well as frozen meat and a large bag of mixed produce (approx. 35 lbs of food total).
