Two arrested in Atascadero after traffic stop finds potentially stolen vehicle
–Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., an Atascadero Police officer attempted a stop near Smart and Final in the 8000 block of El Camino Real in Atascadero after noticing a vehicle with two different plates.
One person attempted to flee immediately on foot. The officer called for other units and then chased down and detained the subject. Both suspects were ultimately arrested. Per radio traffic, one alleged subject said the vehicle was stolen.
No further information is available at this time.
